Supply Chain Innovation Lab features a series of automated systems and technological solutions such as automatic picking and sorting systems, robotics, AR assisted picking and smart storage systems.

The lab host AI project showcases, working space for FYP, CET and short courses and AWS DeepRacer.

Specialised lab equiped with an environmental chamber (temperature and humidity control) to study human performance under controlled environmental conditions together with an array of gold standard instruments (metalyzers, spirometers, lactate analyzers etc.) and exercise ergometers.

Specialist indoor and inclusive outdoor facility featuring 10 unique adventure facilities. Participants with limited mobility, such as wheelchair users and seniors are able to participate making experiential learning and outdoor education more accessible to everyone.

Specialized lab equipped with a configurable movement space to study human movement (i.e. gait, sports skills, etc.) using 3D motion capture technology augmented with instruments such as force plates, pressure mats, EMG, accelerometers, isokinetic dynamometer, etc.

The Greenhouse is dedicated to growing plants in naturally ventilated and climate-controlled conditions. The facility consists of a naturally ventilated greenhouse and a climate-controlled glasshouse, and a two-story laboratory built with containers.

Equipped with analytical instruments connected to a cloud-based system, where staff and students can remotely monitor experiments, collecting and analysing data in real-time.

This laboratory supports teaching and industry research projects in food product development aligned with industry trends. This includes plant-based innovation, alternative protein, food analysis, as well as shelf-life extension studies.

Aquaria, equipped with an outdoor air-ventilated facility and indoor temperature-controlled rooms, is used as a dedicated marine science and aquaculture teaching and research facility.

Environmental Technology Centre (ENVTC) undertakes applied research and development in the areas of renewable energy, sustainable products, waste and water management, environmental conservation and aquaculture.
