SP Facilities

This lab houses the Airbus A320 Flight Simulator and Maintenance Trainer. Students are able to gain an integrated and realistic knowledge on the operations and functions of aircraft electronic systems.

This lab consists of class 100 & 1000 cleanroom with facilities to support all activities related to Wafer Fabrication Process, Nanofabrication, Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS), and Photovoltaic Cell. It also supports R&D project collaboration and training for industry.

This lab comes with facilities to learn the operation and control of DC and AC machines under different load conditions. Students can also use the inverter driver system to control electric vehicles.

This includes the Wind Tunnel lab, Aerodynamics lab and Avionics lab. All of SP's airplanes are also housed here such as the Hawker HS125-700A, King Air B90, A4SU Super Skyhawk and Bell UH-1H Helicopter.

The Bioengineering Lab has an array of instruments and systems that measure physical parameters or biological signals of human bodies (i.e. blood pressure, oxygen consumption, electrocardiogram and electromyogram) and simulate body systems for both teaching and R&D work.

Fablab Central houses the larger equipment like laser cutters, CNC and precision milling, digital flatbed cutting machines and a woodworking workshop.

In the Full Mission Engine Room Simulator, the comprehensive, realistic, interactive and dynamic systems simulate real-world ship propulsion plants.

The Navigation Simulator consists of five Navigating Bridges, three Instructor Stations and Briefing/Debriefing Room. The bridges have a horizontal field of view of 240 degrees and fully equipped with state-of-the-art Computer-Generated Image (CGI) system to create a highly realistic environment.

A learning space that will provide the opportunity for students to strengthen their analytical skills, think critically on a scenario-based approach, develop them with a strong knowledge of the maritime industry and equip them with IT and problem-solving skills.

The Poly Marina on the West Coast waterfront is equipped with fully enclosed and partially enclosed lifeboats capable of being launched from a gravity davit as well as life rafts, which are necessary for training.
